1. Introduction

Welcome to Sunset Lanka Travel & Tours (Pvt) Ltd by accessing our website sunsetlanka.com or using any of our travel services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any booking or using our services.

2. Services

Sunset Lanka Travel & Tours (Pvt) Ltd provides tour packages, transportation, accommodation arrangements, and related travel services across Sri Lanka. We act as both a principal and an agent depending on the service. Details of each service will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

3. Bookings & Payments

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
• A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance must be settled at least 7 days prior to the tour commencement date.
• Payments may be made via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other methods listed at checkout.
• All prices are quoted in USD (or LKR where specified) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• More than 30 days before departure: Full refund, less a 10% administrative fee.
• 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total booking value.
• Less than 15 days before departure: No refund will be issued.
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@sunsetlanka.com.
• We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Clients are responsible for holding valid travel documents (passport, visa, etc.).
• Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.
• Clients are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the tour.
• Respectful behaviour towards guides, drivers, and fellow travellers is expected at all times.

6. Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure your safety and satisfaction, Sunset Lanka Travel & Tours (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, government actions, civil unrest, or third-party service providers. We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the intellectual property of Sunset Lanka Travel & Tours (Pvt) Ltd and is protected under applicable copyright laws. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
